Sellaband is the Music Record Company of the future. Sellaband is a crowdsourcing initiative on the web and brings together artists and music fans. Artists feature there music on the website. Fans can invest in there favorite artists. After raising $ 50.000 from fans Sellaband will produce a CD with the artists. The company was founded in 2006.
To date 31 artists from 13 different countries have each raised ,000 and over 20 albums have been released. Since its launch, music fans have invested over ,500,000 in unsigned artists on SellaBand.
