Prime Technology Ventures is a leading early stage venture capital firm. Prime Technology Ventures focuses on investing in European companies in the information technology and related industries and leverages its capital, experience and contacts to actively guide them into global category leaders. The firm has invested in companies in the Benelux countries, United Kingdom, Finland and Sweden. From its offices in Amsterdam and Cambridge the independent partnership manages over 180 million euro in committed capital.

Industry Focus
We focus on technology-driven companies in rapidly growing emerging markets within the information and communication technology industry. We invest in the areas of software, semiconductor and EDA, mobile computing, communications, infrastructure services and business process outsourcing. These are sectors in which we have direct experience and where we can bring significant value-added to our portfolio companies.
Stage of Investment
We invest in companies ranging in their life cycle stages from seed stage to pre-IPO financing rounds with a strong focus on earlier stages (series A and B rounds). We only invest in high growth companies that can achieve international dominance and where we can add significant value.
Investment Size
Typically, we will invest 500.000 to 5 million euro initially and we expect to invest 2 to 8 million euro over all financing rounds. We seek ownership in the 10-40% range depending on maturity of the company at the time of initial investment. We usually act as the lead investor and are able to arrange significant additional funding through our partners and investors.
Geographical Focus
We consider investment opportunities in technology-driven companies throughout the whole of Europe, with a special emphasis on the Benelux countries, UK and the Nordic Countries as the team has local presence in those areas. Our headquarter is in Amsterdam and we have an office in Cambridge UK. It is our specific aim to help companies in these areas to internationalise through our international business networks.
